NOTE : Neither fix has been approved for rework of production boards or dealer/customer units. The 8042 pin 6 jumper mod is included in this package because it's simple and the effect can be dramatic. The 8042/EPLD tower board is fairly expensive (8742 plus complex EPLD plus wirewrapping) and the plans for it are not provided. Amiga-side programs don't handle fonts other than 8x8 in their window title bars. WORKAROUND: Kickstart 2. 0 users must set their font preferences to an Bx8 size (such as Topaz 8) . - All the mouse drivers have a "hopping" problem - once in a while when moving the mouse, it'll suddenly hop to a strange place on the screen, MS-DOS 5.0 complains that AMOUSE. COM is an "old" mouse driver, but if you tell it to use it anyway, it works fine. - PCWindow has trouble running on an overscanned Workbench screen, WORKAROUND; Don't put the PCWindow window on an overscanned Workbench screen. PCWindow has miscellaneous display updating problems. WORKAROUND: (Usually) click on a scrollbar if the display is acting strange . PCWindow and/or Intuition sometimes get modifier keys stuck on or off. WORKAROUND: Press and release esch modifier key [CTRL, L SHIFT, L ALT, L AMIGA, R AMIGA, R ALT, R SHIFT) once. AREAD and AWRITE can leave DOSServ open and/or locks present on an Amiga disk if the user selects Abort or Fail at an MS-DOS "Abort/ Retry/ Ignore/Fail" requester while AREAD or AWRITE is running. CTRL+BREAK or other errors are safe, however. AREAD may fail while copying subdirectories unless the "/e" option is present. DJMount has no way of knowing when the PC is fully awake and running DOS - as a result, it usually doesn't work the first time. Currently it has many hopeful Delay () calls in it. WORKAROUND: Use two (or more) DJMount commands in a row. Once one DJMount command succeeds, subsequent DJMount commands will simply quit. - PCWindow needs to provide a way to get function keys beyond F10. PCWindow doesn't handle some keypad keys correctly.
